Assistant Accountant

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain & prepare all kind of vouchers, cash book, bank book, bill register, general ledger & different registers related to finance & account.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial practices, including cash management, financial disbursements, ledgers, VAT & Tax, all types of payment etc and maintain all financial records
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the "accounts" function.
- Manage accounts payable/ receivable documents.
- Check & scrutinize all vouchers, sales invoice, procurement & other bills.
- Cash and bank management.
- Customer files & data/ transaction/ report entry and management.
- Report purchase and stock manager of any items short/needed.
- Inventory management.
- Treasury activities including preparation of weekly and monthly cash flows.
- Manage salary/ payroll, gratuity etc.
- Monthly/yearly financial reports as per management requirement.
- Ensure all accounts related records completed in time.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records of document transactions.
- Must be able to work with accounting software.
- Any other jobs assigned by the management
Educational Requirements: Masters in Accounting. {CA (CC) candidates will be preferable}
Experience Requirements: 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
- 2/3 years experience in mentioned criteria.
- Should have skills in operating accounting software especially in enterprise resource planning (ERP).
- Must be able to maintain day to day accounting functions including regular cash verification, bank and balance sheets, receipt & payment statement, accounts reconciliation, monthly accounts closing, timely submission of financial reports, billing etc. in software.
- Operating experience of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power point.
- Good typing speed both in Bangla & English.
Salary: Negotiable
